Bristol Community College has updated the process for requesting event accommodations to improve user experience and accessibility across our locations.

On-Campus Printed Material

Event organizers no longer need to include the access statement on posters, flyers or other marketing materials for events promoted on campus. Instead, clear signage featuring the updated access statement has been posted on all community bulletin boards, ensuring that students, faculty/staff and guests can easily find information about requesting accommodations.

Off-Campus or Digital Material

For events that are being promoted electronically or being sent via email – including community-wide outreach – the new access statement should still be included in marketing materials. See the statement or download one of the graphics available below.

This change streamlines the event posting process while ensuring that accessibility information remains visible and consistent for the Bristol community.
