Civic Engagement Honors for Bristol
Bristol Community College has received national recognition in the area of Civic Engagement. Below are several of the honors Bristol has been bestowed.
“Community Engagement” Classification by the Carnegie Foundation 2006-Present
Bristol was one of only sixty-two colleges and universities that were given the new
“Community Engagement” Classification by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement
of Teaching.
President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for 2006-Present
Bristol was named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll
for its commitment to civic engagement and some exemplary service-learning and community
service programs.
