The Bristol Mobile Food Market is cancelled on Thursday, Feb. 13, due to the fact that the Greater Boston Food Bank has announced it will be closed. 

The next Bristol Mobile Food Market will be held on Thursday, March 13. To receive groceries at the March 13, Bristol Mobile Food Market, kindly complete the March 13 pre-registration form. The pre-registration form will be open until Tuesday, March 11, at 8 a.m.

    Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Current Bristol students who are experiencing barriers to food access may apply to the Bristol Food Scholarship. We encourage students to connect with Basic Needs Support to identify additional resources and to collaboratively create a plan to work toward having your essential needs met. In partnership with the Greater Boston Food Bank, Bristol Community College offers a monthly Mobile Food Market for those in need. The Market provides a variety of free fresh fruits, vegetables, and dairy items to students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Our Mobile Food Market is held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at each campus location.

Overview

  • Pre-registration is required.

  • The distribution is a “drive-through” format. The groceries are pre-packed and will be loaded into your vehicle by volunteers.

  • The Market will be held rain or shine.

Pre-Registration

The registration form closes at 8 a.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. This timing allows for the correct ordering of groceries.

If you have registered for the Mobile Food Market, you will receive a confirmation email on the 2nd Tuesday of the month during the afternoon or evening. This email confirmation contains your registration identification number and pick-up time. 

Printed pre-registration confirmation is required at the Market’s check-in. If you do not have access to a printer, please write your confirmation number on a piece of paper.
