It is a good idea to have multiple browsers installed on your computer, laptop, or smartphone so you can quickly switch to a different browser should you encounter a browser related issue. If you are trying to perform a time sensitive task you may not have enough time to troubleshoot the issue, update your existing browser, or download another browser.
Using WhatsMyBrowser.org or WhatisMyBrowser.com are easy ways to find information about your browser along with basic information about your computer and its connection to the Internet.
If you automatically sign in to websites using stored credentials (username and password) in your web browser you may experience conflicts when you change a password but do not also save the new password to the list of saved passwords in your browser. Additionally, saved passwords are potentially a security risk because it becomes easier for third parties to access your saved login credentials stored in your web browser.
