Office of Title IX & Equity Compliance
Bristol Community College is committed to equal access to education and employment and to a learning and working environment free from discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and retaliation.
The Office of Title IX and Equity Compliance (ECO) helps students, employees, applicants, and other members of the Bristol community understand their rights, report concerns, and connect with support. The office administers Bristol’s Equal Opportunity, Non-Discrimination and Title IX Plan (EOP) and coordinates the College’s response to concerns and complaints involving discrimination and discriminatory harassment based on protected characteristics; sex-based harassment and Title IX sexual harassment; sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking; retaliation; pregnancy-related access and accommodations; and disability discrimination or accommodation concerns. The Plan covers applicable conduct in College programs, activities, and employment, including relevant online and off-campus settings.
You do not need to know which policy applies or determine whether a violation occurred before contacting the office.
The Office also coordinates American Sign Language Interpreting/CART requests for employees and accessibility accommodations for College events. To request assistance or learn more, visit the Disability Access page.
