Bristol Community College is committed to providing accessibility to our students and community in all areas, from the classroom to the web. We strive to utilize the latest technology and best practices to ensure an accessible and inclusive user experience on BristolCC.edu.

We conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and work in collaboration with our vendors and partner organizations to ensure our website meets or exceeds current accessibility standards.

The code and components of this site are constructed in compliance with W3C standards for HTML and CSS and are compatible with modern web browsers and assistive technologies. Our use of standards-compliant code supports accessibility now and as browsers and technologies continue to evolve.

Bristol Community College engaged The Carroll Center for the Blind’s Accessibility Services team to evaluate the accessibility of our public website. Testing included automated tools (such as WebAIM’s WAVE) as well as manual testing using screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver across multiple browsers and platforms. Accessibility testing and remediation are ongoing and integrated into our website maintenance and update processes.

Bristol Community College’s goal is to provide an accessible experience for all site visitors.
