Parking Fines
Illegally or improperly parked vehicles will receive Parking Violation Notices that carry monetary fines.
Monies received from the parking fines are deposited into a trust that is used to provide financial aid to Bristol students.
Failure to pay the parking fines within 21 days of the date of the violation will result in an additional $5.00 penalty.
Within 60-90 days of the original issue date, the Registry of Motor Vehicles will be notified and an additional penalty of $20.00 will be added. This fee cannot be waived under any circumstances. The registered owner of the vehicle will be prevented from renewing his/her license or registration until all tickets and penalties are paid in full to Bristol Community College.
Appeals
Appeal requests must be filed within 21 days of receiving a violation. Forms are available in the Bristol Police Office D110.
Temporary Permit
Temporary parking permits are available for students and staff with short-term disabilities. These spaces are limited, so proper medical documentation is required. Temporary permits are valid for 30 days. If additional time is needed, the party may apply for an extension beyond 30 days.
