Bristol Joins Achieving the Dream Network
Bristol Community College has joined the Achieving the Dream (ATD) Network, strengthening the college’s commitment to student success, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Bristol has joined a prestigious national network of more than 300 community colleges working together to strengthen student success and expand opportunities for students and their communities. Through this work, Bristol students will be better positioned to reach their educational and career goals which creates a ripple effect that strengthens the workforce, supports local businesses, and contributes to the overall economic impact of the communities we serve.
By working with ATD and its partners, Bristol hopes to strengthen our ability to use data to guide decisions that continuously strengthen our practices, leading to real gains in student outcomes and deepening our impact on the communities we serve.
Bristol already uses data to understand student progress and achievement. This partnership will help build on that work, turning data and insight into action that supports students from enrollment through completion, transfer, and employment.
Advancing Bristol’s Strategic Plan
Bristol’s partnership with ATD directly supports the college’s 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, particularly our Smart Goals within its pillars of Student Success and Data & Technology. The plan calls for student-centered pathways and supports, as well as stronger data and technology systems that help Bristol make informed decisions and continuously improve.
This work aligns directly with our Strategic Plan and our commitment to student success, innovation, and meaningful impact. With the expertise, dedication, and collaborative spirit of our faculty and staff, we are well positioned to turn what we learn into meaningful action. By learning together, sharing what works, and listening to the experiences of our students and college community, we can turn data and insight into action that leads to stronger outcomes for our students and the communities we serve.

Bristol is the seventh Massachusetts community college participating in the network, joining Berkshire Community College, Bunker Hill Community College, Middlesex Community College, Northern Essex Community College, Roxbury Community College, and Springfield Technical Community College.
