Student Absences

It is very important that students contact their instructors if they expect to miss classes for an extended period due to illness, accident, or other unavoidable circumstances.

Students should make every effort, if possible, to contact their instructors by email, phone messages through Divisional Offices or as directed in course syllabus. If this is not possible, contact the Vice President for Student Affairs, at 774.357.2150, who will send an email to your instructors informing them of your absence.

This notification to instructors is for in- formational purposes only. Whether or not your absence will affect your enrollment in the class can only be determined by your instructors. Please refer to your course syllabus or the Attendance Policy section of the college catalog.
