Activity Period

Bristol Community College has scheduled an “activity period” every Wednesday, 2 to 3 p.m. During this time period the college tries not to schedule any classes. This allows student groups to meet and participate in various events and activities without worrying about conflicts with their classes.

This open time slot not only provides an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to take part in campus events but also highlights monthly themes and special days to celebrate. The goal is to make diversity a year-long celebration and to provide opportunities for students, faculty, staff and administration to make connections and to support the college’s goal to develop “The Educated Person.”

Activities are posted on the Event Calendar which is a featured link on the college Website. This activity period is reflective of the college’s commitment to the Office of Student and Family Engagement and leadership.
