Academic Affairs - Program Review
In an effort to increase focus on improving the student learning experience, faculty engage in quality improvement processes within all academic programs yearly. Bristol is committed to ensuring that the learning taking place is representative of the knowledge, values, and skills of inquiry expected by the public and meets industry standards. Additionally, an inquiry of practice determines the breadth and depth of contribution to the institutions mission statement. The 6-year program review is not a punitive exercise. It is meant to be intentional, purposeful, coherent, engaging, rigorous and cumulative. The Program review begins with curriculum mapping at the program level and moves through the cycle with work continuing at the course level and an external review to address alignment with industry standards. The review also provides space to identify areas of needed assessment and future improvement plans.
