COURSE SEARCH

Tuition remission is available to benefited employees and eligible dependents at any Massachusetts college or university after a six (6) month waiting period, in accordance with state policy. 

Courses at Bristol Community College

Day and Evening Courses (includes Distance Learning)

Benefited employees, their spouses and dependents are eligible for 100% tuition and fees are waived.
Please note: Benefited employees, their spouses and dependents must wait 1 week before class begins to enroll.


In addition to our catalog of degree and certificate programs, Bristol also provides access to hundreds of professional development, training, and other certificate programs, including the popular MindEdge and ed2go offerings. These programs are tailored to your needs, either self-paced – allowing you to learn at your own speed – or led by an instructor to support you through your learning! To Apply:

  1. Complete the Tuition Waiver for Bristol Community College, which will automatically route to the appropriate approvers. 
  2. Upon completion of the approval process, the form will automatically be forwarded to Student Accounts to process. 

Non-Bristol Courses at Other State Colleges and Universities 

Day/Evening Courses (includes Distance Learning)

Benefited employees, their spouses and dependents are eligible for tuition remission at other Massachusetts state colleges and universities, in accordance with applicable policies. The remission per school may vary and is subject to change. Please contact your school of interest directly to confirm the current rates.

To Apply:

  1. Complete the Tuition Remission for Higher Education form, which will automatically route to the appropriate approvers.  
  2. Upon completion of the approval process, the form will be routed back to the employee. 
  3. The employee must then submit the form with the tuition bill to the college or university at which the employee, the employee's spouse or dependent child is enrolled. This may be completed no earlier than 1 week before the class begins. 

Division of Continuing Education Unit Tuition Waiver

Eligible DCE Adjunct Faculty unit members, their spouse and/or dependent child/children may be eligible for tuition waiver benefits. To view the full terms of these benefits please review the DCE Adjunct Faculty contract.

To Apply:  

  1. Complete the Tuition Waiver for DCE Unit Members.form, which will automatically route to appropriate approvers.
  2. Upon completion of the approval process, the form will be routed back to the employee.
