Making a great first impression is key! Whether you’re starting an internship, preparing for an interview or stepping into your first day at work, wearing the right outfit can make all the difference. That’s why Bristol launched the Career Readiness Clothing Closet in 2024 – to offer students professional attire at no cost.

Located in the Women’s Center, our closet features a variety of masculine, feminine and androgynous clothing, along with accessories. This program is made possible through generous donations from faculty, staff and community members.

Need help selecting the perfect outfit for an upcoming interview or networking event? We’re here to support you. Schedule an appointment with a Career Coach to get advice on dressing to meet your professional goals. You can access the Career Readiness Clothing Closet anytime the Women’s Center is open. Alternatively, contact Career Services to arrange a time to choose a professional outfit that’s yours to keep.

The Career Readiness Clothing Closet and the Fall River Community

Thank you to our Massachusetts State Representative Carole Fiola for visiting and donating to our brand-new Career Readiness Clothing Closet. This project wouldn't have been possible without the Bristol Community College Foundation and the generous support of our amazing community members. Thank you, Carole!

We extend our gratitude to the Veterans Center and Dress for Success Boston for their support, as Talos Farris, SVA Chapter President & Director of Veterans Services for the City of Fall River, along with former Student Trustee Silvia Jones, generously contributed clothing donations to our Career Readiness Clothing Closet.
