COURSE SEARCH

Media services provides audio-visual equipment for all on-campus gatherings scheduled my faculty and staff members. Computer equipment, DVD, CD and tape players, overhead projection equipment and other AV equipment can be scheduled for delivery. Campus supported software packages are available for use in most cases.

Delivery and Pickup

Media services will deliver, set up and retrieve your requested equipment for you. Simply fill out the online request form and we’ll contact you about the availability of equipment.

Please remember that all requests must be made a minimum of forty-eight hours in advance to ensure the availability of requested equipment.

Technology-Enhanced Classrooms

In many locations around the Bristol campuses, we have already installed audio-visual equipment for faculty and staff use. This equipment is available to anyone using the room in which it is installed. 

Bristol Community College provides internet access and telephones for each faculty and staff member on request.

Telephones

Information Technology Services maintains all college telephones in offices, classrooms, labs and other areas of the campus. If you encounter problems with telephone service, please contact ITS using our online contact form or at extension 3333.

Should you need a telephone installed, moved, or removed you should make a formal request to ITS using our Computer and Telephone Request Form.

Internet Access

Information Technology Services maintains internet access for all authorized computer users on campus. Should you need a network connection installed, moved, or removed you should make a formal request to ITS using our Computer and Telephone Request Form.

Email and Network Access

Bristol Community College provides all staff and faculty with a free email account, internet access and network storage when requested through your hiring manager.

A request for access must be made by their supervisor using our Computer and Telephone Request Form.

Banner

Information Technology Services maintains Student Information Management software known as Banner, a collegiate administrative suite of student, financial aid, finance, human resources, and advancement systems.

Advisors and administrators can use this system to access student and class records to maintain student records, enter and edit class scheduling information and many other facets of campus information management.

Faculty and staff members who need access to the Banner system must have a formal request to Information Technology Services made by their supervisor using our Computer and Telephone Request Form.
