Wraparound Services
Wraparound Services at Bristol provides a continuum of programs and services designed to promote access and remove barriers by addressing the holistic needs of students. By coordinating access to academic accommodations, basic needs resources, mental health support, student advocacy and parenting resources, these services help students thrive in all areas of college life.
Access & Disability Services (ADS)
Access & Disability Services (ADS) facilitates an interactive process with students with disabilities so they can fully participate in an accessible college life. ADS Coordinators work one-on-one with students to discuss reasonable academic accommodations, review documentation, and cultivate proactive approaches to strengthen self-advocacy and eliminate barriers.
Individual accommodations are a civil right and are protected by federal law (ADAAA, Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973). ADS is here to ensure students experience an inclusive and accessible college environment.
Resources for students with disabilities:
- Classroom and testing accommodations.
- Dedicated one-on-one guidance year-round.
- Referrals or collaboration with other college resources.
- Assistive technology access.
