Be creative. Be candid. Be a part of history.

We are living in unprecedented times as the COVID-19 pandemic impacts every element of our lives. It is important that we record our experiences for generations to come. History is happening right now – and you are a part of it.

Gender, racial and economic inequities that already existed in the United States have become magnified during the twin health and economic crises facing the country and the world. In particular, women have been impacted the most. That is why we believe highlighting women's voices at this time is of the utmost importance.

Share your story by contributing journal entries to Bristol Women Writing History: A Coronavirus Journaling Project. Journals can be written, orally recorded, video recorded, a series of photographs or original artwork.

Based on the project of the same name by the National Women’s History Museum, Bristol created this project to help capture the female voice and how the pandemic has impacted daily lives and perspectives. Individuals of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and socio-economic circumstances are invited to contribute to this important work.

Everyone has a story. What’s yours?
