If you wish to come to campus for services beginning January 2022, you will need to show proof of COVID-19 Vaccination.

Bristol VaxUp

 

The special “$200 thank you" program, which began in July for all students who become fully vaccinated and upload their COVID-19 vaccination cards to the Bristol APP has expired. Read below for answers to your questions.

 

Bristol Student VaxUp Program

  • This program was for students who uploaded their vaccination cards through the Bristol App by November 28,2021.
  • Students who uploaded their vaccination cards through the Bristol App by November 28, 2021 will recieve $200 by December 17, 2021.
  • Reminder: Students registering for face-to-face and/or hybrid courses for Wintersession or Spring semester will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination prior to registration.

If you are a: 

  • Student taking classes for college credit, you will receive $200 in your Bank Mobile Account.  
    • If you don’t have a Bank Mobile Account set up yet, we will send an email to explain the steps to set up your account. 
    • We now have a new and improved method for our credit students to make their refund selection with BankMobile (BM). Students can now log into their accessBCC account, under the student quick links, select "Refund Selection" which takes them to the BM website.
  • Non-credit student (GED, HiSET, ESOL) you will receive a $200 check to your address of record
  • Student who was enrolled after March 2020 but is no longer a student, will receive a $200 check to your address of record

  • What if I don’t want my name shared with those associated with the VaxUp program after I upload my COVID-19 vaccination card? Please email healthservices@bristolcc.edu prior to uploading your vaccination card. Important, you will not be eligible for the incentive.

  • Can I receive cash instead? No, the incentive will only be distributed on your Bristol student account.

Bristol Employee VaxUp Program:

  • This program was for employees who uploaded their vaccination cards through the Bristol App by November 28, 2021.
  • Employees who uploaded their vaccination cards through the Bristol App by November 28, 2021 will recieve $45 by January 1, 2022.
  • The $45 will be included in your paycheck. Taxes will be based on your individual tax withholding rate. Bristol will not be issuing employee checks from Accounts Payable for this program. 
  • Please note, the employee incentive for uploading your vaccination card will be listed under “other pay” on the Commonwealth's Financial Transparency Platform.

  • What if I don’t want my name shared with those affiliated with the VaxUp4Bristol$ program after I upload my COVID-19 vaccination card? Email healthservices@bristolcc.edu prior to uploading for further direction. You will not be eligible for the incentive.

  • Is the Student Thank You different than the Employee Thank You program? Yes, for information on the Student Thank You program please click on the student Vax Up tab above.  

  • Am I eligible for any other vaccination incentives being given out by the college i.e. the student thank you? No, college (state) employees are only eligible for the $45 incentive. This includes employees who are also students. They are not eligible for the student thank you program.

Employee and student COVID-19 vaccination information is protected private information under FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). Please note, by uploading your vaccination card, only limited Bristol Employees will have access to this information as outlined in our FERPA policy. Vaccination status is not included in directory information and will not be shared in any public records request.
