The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as Bristol Community College, prohibits the act of hazing. Any student or group found to be in violation of this prohibition will be subject to disciplinary action and criminal prosecution.

Hazing is any conduct or method of initiation into any student organization, whether on public or private property, which willfully or recklessly endangers the physical or mental health of any student or other person.

For further information, refer to the applicable sections of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 269, Sections 17, 18, and 19, which relate to hazing, found on the college's Hazing Policy HERE.
