Bristol Community College’s Alumni Association has elected John J. Morris '23, of
Fall River, as the Alumni Trustee of the college’s Board of Trustees.
John J. Morris graduated from Bristol with associate degrees in engineering technology
and general studies, before earning bachelor's degrees in criminal justice from Bay
State College and information technology from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
He served on the college's Board of Trustees, as a Student Trustee, from 2023 to 2024 and is a volunteer with several community organizations.
John currently serves as an Outreach Coordinator for Student Veterans of America (SVA), a premier non-profit organization leading service, research, programs, and advocacy
for veterans in higher education. SVA offers a variety of professional development,
employment partnerships and advising opportunities.
