Bristol Community College student John J. Morris, of Fall River, has been elected
the college’s Student Trustee for 2023-2024. John resides in Fall River and is currently studying information technology.
Upon completing his degree at the college in May 2024, John plans to continue his education at UMass Boston to earn his bachelor's degree and master's
degree in information technology, with the goal of working in information technology
management, or information security, in the defense or government sector.
“As a former leader in the United States Air Force, I now hope to lead my fellow students
to success in their educational careers,” said John J. Morris, 2023-2024 Student Trustee, Bristol Community College.
Bristol’s Student Trustee is elected annually by their peers to serve as a student
representative and member of the Bristol Community College Board of Trustees. Bristol’s
Board of Trustees is made up of regional business and community leaders who work tirelessly
to ensure the college’s institutional initiatives remain at the highest level of quality.
