Denny Cosmo, Director of Bristol Community College’s Joseph A Marshall Veterans Center, has been named 2023 Chapter Advisor of the Year by the Student Veterans of America (SVA). Each year at its national conference, the SVA recognizes the extraordinary student veterans, advisors, chapters and partners who represent the very best of the student veteran extended community, as well as the epitome of service, scholarship and accomplishment.

The SVA’s Chapter Advisor of the Year Award acknowledges the exceptional mentorship, service and advocacy provided by a campus staff or faculty member to an SVA Chapter as an advisor.
