Syllabus Templates

The Bristol Community College Department of Online Learning has provided a template for virtual and in-person syllabi here. You are not obligated to utilize this template, but it is helpful if you want to be sure that you are following all of Bristol’s guidelines.

Inclusive Pedagogy Materials

An earlier Inclusive Learning Committee led by Dr. Engin Atasay created these Inclusive Pedagogy Materials. We will also add additional inclusive pedagogy materials from other sources over time.

Online Learning Tutorials

Bristol Community College has provided recordings of several of our faculty trainings on Blackboard. You can find the playlist here

Tuition Remission Program

Tuition remission is available to benefited employees and eligible dependents at any Massachusetts college or university after a six (6) month waiting period with the exception of employees of the MCCC bargaining agreement. A "dependent child" shall mean any natural, adopted, or step-child who is claimed as a dependent on the eligible employee’s Federal Tax Return for the tax year immediately preceding enrollment and/or according to an employee’s collective bargaining agreement. Visit the Tuition Remission page for more information.

Institutional Review Board

The Institutional Review Board meets regularly to review plans for research by members of the institution and those associated with the College who are conducting human subject research. This can include the use of surveys. If you wish to conduct research involving members of the Bristol Community, you should reach out to them. Instructions and more information are available on the Institutional Review Board website. You can also apply for an IRB through the IRB Application Page
