The OneBook program exists to engage community members across the college in a common reading experience. Annually, students, faculty, and staff help select a book for the academic year. This book becomes the foundation for many different academic events designed to bring the college community under a common theme. Events include lectures, presentations, guest speakers, discussions, and much more.

Conversations are started. People make connections. Classes across different programs and disciplines are brought together to delve into those connections. OneBook can tell a story that makes the entire College community come together.

Past OneBook titles include Persepolis, Tuesdays With Morrie, The Things They Carried, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, In the Heart of the Sea, I Am Malala, A Walk in the Woods, The Martian , Born on a Blue Day, Ready Player One, The Hate U Give, Educated, and Tales of Two Americas.
