Maria Gonzalez, Founder and Managing Principal at M&A Supplier Diversity Consultants (M&A SDC), has been appointed as a member of the Bristol Community College Board of Trustees.
Gonzalez earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Massachusetts Boston and her master's degree in criminal justice from Boston University.
Maria Gonzalez is a trailblazer in the field of supplier diversity with more than 20 years of public sector experience. Maria specializes in designing and implementing compliant supplier diversity programs that
empower women-owned enterprises, small businesses and the BIPOC business community. She has also previously held roles in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Operational Services Division, the Office of Access and Opportunity and the Supplier Diversity Office. In addition to leading M&A SDC, Maria serves her community as a Certified SCORE Business Counselor, Vice Chair of the Taunton Area Chamber of Commerce and an active contributor to the Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School Advisory Committee. She resides in Taunton, Mass.
