Bristol Community College and the One Southcoast Chamber have partnered together to host MOSAIC, a special event for area business leaders, from all backgrounds, to come together to learn more about what makes up our community's cultural tapestry.
The event takes place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the John J. Sbrega Health and Science Building (J building), on the Bristol Fall River Campus, 777 Elsbree Street.
MOSAIC will begin with a panel discussion at 4 p.m., where South Coast leaders will discuss the business imperative of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, followed by a reception of light refreshments, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will include a cash bar, as well as opportunities to win raffle prizes!
The event's panelists will include Melanie Cluley, Director of Organizational Culture and Engagement, Southcoast Health; Emmanuel Echavarria, Chief Human Resources Officer, Bristol Community College; Gail Fortes, Executive Director of the YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts & Vice Chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee; Ross Hooley, Coordinator, MAICEI (Mass. Inclusive Concurrent Enrollment Initiative), Bristol Community College; Helena Moronta, First Vice President Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer BayCoast Bank and Arti Pacheco, Agent, New York Life Insurance Company.
MOSAIC is free and open to both chamber and non-chamber members. All business leaders are encouraged to bring their staff members and colleagues.
The One SouthCoast Chamber is a progressive organization that participates in initiatives that positively impact our business members and the quality of life in the South Coast region. Initiatives include education, economic development, trade shows and legislative affairs.
