Bristol Community College was recently honored with a Member Milestone by the Taunton Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in recognition of the college’s 50 years of chamber membership.
The recognition was presented to Bristol Community College President Laura L. Douglas
and Dean of the Taunton Center Robert Rezendes, by President & CEO of the Taunton
Area Chamber of Commerce Kris Silva, at the college’s Taunton Center.
The Taunton Area Chamber of Commerce has been dedicated to promoting a thriving and prosperous economy and community for
the Greater Taunton Area for more than 100 years. The chamber offers networking events,
question-and-answer sessions with local legislators, webinars and more.
Bristol Community College’s Taunton Center, located at 2 Hamilton Street, offers a variety of course offerings and student services.
The reimagined center features a Library Learning Commons, high-tech biology and chemistry
labs, computer labs, an auditorium and a full-sized gymnasium, which is home to the
Bristol Bayhawks’ Athletics programs.
