Bristol Community College Associate Vice President of Administration and Facilities
Jo Ann Bentley is the recipient of the 2023 Massachusetts Facilities Management Association
(MAFMA) Member of the Year Award. The award was presented at the semi-annual MAFMA meeting on Thursday, October 26, 2023 and honors facility staff members who have provided exemplary service to an institution’s building, facility and the Commonwealth.
Jo Ann Bentley, of Fall River, Mass., is an accomplished licensed architect who exhibits
exceptional leadership of Bristol's facilities department, overseeing 1,000,000 square
feet across five college locations and managing more than $100M in capital projects.
With a keen eye for efficiency, she has developed comprehensive maintenance and operational
procedures and successfully directed more than 50 projects and key environmental upgrades
at the college.
The Massachusetts Facilities Management Association (MAFMA) is a network of state facilities personnel, established by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), to disseminate information on training opportunities and new technologies, in addition
to informing facilities personnel of proposed regulatory or statutory changes that
may affect facilities operations.
