Bristol Community College was honored with the 2023 APEX Business of the Year Award for a Large Business, presented by the One SouthCoast Chamber at their annual meeting on Wednesday, December 13, at Whites of Westport. The award honors the hard work, sacrifice and dedication local business owners and professionals bestow upon the region.
The complete list of 2023 APEX Awards recipients featured Tropical Smoothie Cafe (Small Business), Bristol Community College (Large Business), United Way of Greater New Bedford (Non-Profit) and Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School (Education).
The chamber also honored community leaders, including Ambassador of the Year recipient Albert Mui, and Brayton Community Service Award recipients Jim Oliveira, Elizabeth Carpenter, Joseph Nauman, Sharon Macinnes and David and Kim Berube.
