The innovative Women Writing History project, organized by Bristol Community College’s Women’s Center throughout the college’s spring semester, invited Bristol students and community members from all genders, backgrounds, cultures and socio-economic circumstances to be a part of living history and contribute their journalistic efforts to the collaborative project.
Based on the project of the same name by the National Women’s History Museum, Bristol’s initiative aims to help capture the women’s voice and how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted daily lives and perspectives. The project’s journal submissions include written pieces, video or audio recordings, photographs and original artworks.
