Bristol Community College will host a free Project Management Certificate program information session on Saturday, October 23

Project management is recognized by corporations, large and small, as the discipline that moves ideas into reality. Bristol Community College will host a Project Management Certificate program information session on Saturday, October 23, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, in the Commonwealth College Center (G building) atrium, on the Bristol Fall River Campus, 777 Elsbree Street. Everyone is welcome and invited.

At the information session on Saturday, October 23, students explore career opportunities, hear from graduates, meet program faculty, ask questions and find out how to quickly get started in the program.

Please RSVP to the event by emailing ProjectMgtEvent@BristolCC.edu.

Bristol’s Project Management Certificate program enables students to gain practical, analytical and theoretical skills to constructively manage projects across multiple fields and industries. The program is designed to provide a quality educational experience that prepares its students to manage and lead project teams.

Why is project management so important? As company executives and entrepreneurs deal with the daily responsibilities of managing the business, the importance of hiring dedicated project managers to oversee projects from conception to completion is becoming a fast-growing field. Effective project managers carry out projects on time, on budget and with minimal disruption to the rest of the business.

As Bristol continues to lead with safety, all students, faculty, staff and guests must follow the Bristol Together plan’s ongoing health and safety protocols, including wearing a mask while indoors in common areas at all of our college locations and public events.
