Lillian Britt Carlson established this scholarship to honor her grandparents and continue a family legacy of support for Bristol Community College. Lillian's grandfather, Clifford Carlson, was a former bank president in Fall River, a founding member of the Bristol Community College Presidents Club and a member of the Bristol Community College Board of Trustees.
Lillian Carlson is an associate at Clayton Dubilier & Rice, a leading private equity fund, working with industrial companies. Previously Lillian was an analyst in the global power and utilities group at Morgan Stanley, a major investment bank. She is a graduate of Harvard College and The Chapin School in New York City.
This endowed scholarship will provide financial support to Bristol Community College students studying business administration and related subjects with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
