Bristol Community College student Jamie Wasilowski has been elected the college’s
Student Trustee for the 2026 - 2027 term. Jamie resides in New Bedford, Mass. and is currently studying in the the business administration
transfer program.
Upon completing his degree at the college in Spring 2026, Jamie plans to continue
his education to earn a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master’s
degree in industrial/organizational psychology, with the goal of opening a restaurant in New Bedford and serving as an adjunct professor
at Bristol Community College.
“Becoming Student Trustee officially recognizes and echoes much of the leadership
I've been developing and exhibiting throughout my time here at Bristol Community College,”
said Jamie Wasilowski, 2026 - 2027 Student Trustee, Bristol Community College. “This position appealed to me because it enables me to continue doing what I do
naturally for my peers while strengthening crucial leadership skills that transcend
into organization and community collaborations.”
Bristol’s Student Trustee is elected annually by their peers to serve as a student
representative and member of the Bristol Community College Board of Trustees.
