Bristol Community College to host first virtual Women of Color Family Night on Thursday, October 1, 2020
Join Bristol Community College for its first virtual Women of Color Family Night! This engaging Zoom event is to celebrate our region’s women of color and is open to everyone
who registers. We welcome current students, those thinking about going to college, families and
community members.
Join Bristol, Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 6:30 p.m., on the free Zoom video meeting
platform. Once registered, participants will receive an invite with the Zoom link
and information to join.

During the event, participants can learn more about how Bristol Community College
is supporting students of color, including dedicated mentorship programs. The event
will include a welcome from Bristol’s President Laura L. Douglas; a panel discussion
featuring women of color, moderated by Bristol Women’s Center Director Iva Brito;
as well as information on the college’s admissions and financial process. As an added
bonus, participants will be entered to win a free three-credit course just for attending!
