Bristol Community College student Alexis Viveiros-Branco elected Bristol Community College’s Student Trustee for 2020-2021
                     
                     Bristol Community College student Alexis Viveiros-Branco, of Fall River, has been elected the college’s Student Trustee for 2020-2021. 
                     
                     
                        
                        Alexis is currently studying human services at Bristol Community College. Upon completing
                                 her degree at Bristol in May 2022, Alexis plans to continue her education to pursue
                                 a career as a Massachusetts State Trooper or juvenile probation officer for the Department
                                 of Children and Families, where she can assist others in her community. 
                         
                     
                     
                        
                        “I am excited to assist Bristol students with their concerns and to serve as a voice
                                 for the college community,” said Alexis. “I want to help students finish their academic
                                 goals and create a strong student community despite the nationwide pandemic.” 
                         
                     
                     
                        
                        Bristol’s Student Trustee is elected annually by their peers to serve as a student
                                 representative and member of the Bristol Community College Board of Trustees. Bristol’s
                                 Board of Trustees is made up of regional business and community leaders who work tirelessly
                                 to ensure the college’s institutional initiatives remain at the highest level of quality.
