Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has appointed Dartmouth resident and Bristol Community College alumna, Lynn A. Motta, First Vice President in the Commercial Services Department, BankFive, as a member of the Bristol Community College Board of Trustees.
Ms. Motta is on the Bristol Community College Alumni Association Steering Committee and served as the Chair of the 2017 Alumni Paragon Awards Planning Committee. The Alumni Paragon Awards are presented to BCC graduates who demonstrate excellence in their careers, service to the college, and substantial community involvement. She is also an active member of the community serving on numerous boards including the Board of Directors of the Greater New Bedford Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Board and Treasurer for Child & Family Services.
Ms. Motta recently graduated from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and received a Wharton Leadership Certificate from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is also a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where she earned a bachelor's degree in finance. She graduated from Bristol Community College in 1992.
