What You'll Learn

Hospitality and Event Management program students will be able to...

  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge of hospitality operations, including lodging, food and beverage, and event management. 
  • Design, coordinate, and implement events (e.g., meetings, conferences, weddings) that meet client objectives, budgets, and timelines. 
  • Apply professional customer service techniques to create positive guest experiences and handle diverse client needs. 
  • Communicate effectively in oral, written, and digital formats with clients, vendors, and team members. 
  • Develop and manage budgets, interpret financial data, and make cost-effective decisions. 
  • Demonstrate ethical behavior and incorporate sustainability practices in hospitality and Event Management.
