Bristol Community College is proud to announce that the college’s nursing class of 2022 has achieved a 92.1 percent pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) exam.
The NCLEX is an examination for the licensing of nurses in the United States and Canada. The National Council of State Boards of Nursing, INC (NCSBN) develops and administers the exam on behalf of its board members across each state in the United States.
“The college’s continued student success on the NCLEX exam illustrates the impact of the collaborations we have developed with the local health care providers and our faculty and staff’s commitment to helping students succeed,” said Bristol Community College Dean of Health Sciences Lynne Brodeur. “Thoroughly preparing our students to succeed on the NCLEX exam also enables healthcare organizations to have access to stronger recruits.”
Each state board of nursing requires a candidate for licensure to pass the appropriate NCLEX examination that corresponds with their education level. NCLEX examinations are designed to test the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for the safe and effective practice of nursing at the entry-level.
