Bristol's Certificate of Achievement in Culinary Arts, conveniently offered on weekends, prepares you for employment in the exciting foodservice industry.

If you are looking to try a new career and still work during the week, this is a great opportunity to reach your culinary dreams.

Graduates of this 2-semester, 26-credit program, will be well qualified for job opportunities in professional kitchens, dining rooms, bakeries and more. The program’s curriculum includes gaining real-world experience by training at college and community-wide culinary functions.

This certificate program includes engaging courses such as:

  • CUL 111 Essentials of Culinary Arts 1
  • CUL 121 Dining Room Functions 1
  • CUL 140 Sanitation for Culinarians
  • CUL 113 Baking Skills for Cooks, which focuses on practical, technical training for realistic culinary settings.

Students can also transfer all of the certificate program’s completed coursework towards Bristol’s cutting-edge Associate of Applied Science Culinary Arts program, to continue to advance their culinary arts education. In addition to standard tuition and fees, this program includes additional expenses for uniforms, tools and texts, which are available in the college bookstore and online.
