All of the Design, Theatre & Communication programs feature hands-on, project-based learning. Program and course outcomes are directly tied to current industry practices. Faculty bring professional experience to benefit student learning. Classrooms, studios and labs use industry-standard software, tools and techniques to provide real-world experience that translates directly into the field. All programs provide seamless transfer to related bachelor’s degree tracks.

The Communication program at Bristol prepares students for transfer to earn a bachelor’s degree in communication. Theatre students prepare for a career in performing arts and entertainment industries with coursework that includes voice production, stagecraft and playwriting. Design students gain marketable skills in visual communication and problem-solving as well as photography, motion graphics, user-interface design and more, developing professional portfolios to use for transfer or directly for the workplace.
