Established in 2008, this scholarship is named after Loretta S. George, who established a culture of philanthropy as a founding member of the Foundation and was a model and pathfinder for women leaders in the Greater Fall River Community. The qualifying student must be enrolled full-time, possess a GPA 3.0 or higher, have completed 30 credits, and be a resident of Fall River, Freetown, Somerset, Swansea, Westport or Assonet. Preference is given to a student of Lebanese heritage.
