Dental Clinic
If you have ever visited a local dentist, chances are your dental hygienist graduated from Bristol’s top-notch program. A pride point for the college is its track record of preparing an average of 22 students per year to seamlessly transition into the workforce upon graduation. Their expertise comes from the hands-on experience provided at the college’s free community Dental Hygiene Clinic.
The clinic not only contributes to the education of aspiring dental professionals but also benefits the community by offering a range of free services. These include dental exams, sealants, cleanings, x-rays, periodontal scalings, whitening, fluoride treatments, nutritional counseling, oral cancer screenings and blood pressure screenings.
Community members are encouraged to visit the Dental Hygiene Clinic for these valuable services and to assist students in acquiring essential skills for the job market.
The clinic, located on the Fall River Campus, welcomes all members of the community with a suggested donation of $10. No insurance is required, and appointments can be made by calling 774.357.2139.
