Students who transfer into Bristol from another regionally accredited college or university may be eligible to receive transfer credit. Students may also request to receive credit for military training and experience. Click here to learn more about Bristol’s Transfer Admission policy.

To qualify for a Bristol degree, transfer students must fulfill graduation requirements in the selected curriculum and meet the college residency requirement by earning 25% of the credits toward the associate degree or 50% of the credits toward a certificate program. Exceptions may be granted by petition.

To receive credit for courses taken at any other institution while enrolled at Bristol, students must obtain approval in advance. Visit our Student-focused Services page for more information regarding our Financial Aid Consortium Agreement, Prior Approval and/or SACHEM. Forms are available in the Enrollment Center and should be submitted with the appropriate supporting documents.

NOTE: For information regarding transferring credits and articulation agreements from Bristol to a four-year college, visit our Transfer Services page.
