Lean Training Program
The five-part comprehensive lean training program was designed to help employers in Taunton and New Bedford learn about lean/business process improvement skills, tools, and techniques. Supported by a Direct Access Grant from Commonwealth Corporation, this training is no cost to participants if the required forms are submitted.
The program includes multiple cycles of the following topics:
Lean for the Office
Taunton - Nov. 1, 3, 8, and 10, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
New Bedford - Oct. 4, 6, 11, and 13, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Bring the benefits of lean to customer service, accounting, purchasing and other front office areas. (28 hours total)
Lean Quality Tools
Taunton - Nov. 14, 16, and 18, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
New Bedford - Oct. 17, 19, and 21, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Provide a foundation for understanding how to use data to take action and uncover the root cause of process problems. (20 hours total)
Lean Business Process Improvement (Green Belt)
Taunton - Sep. 26, 28, and 30. 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
New Bedford - Sep. 27, and 29, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Provide comprehensive lean/six sigma tools and techniques for use in simulation and real business process improvement projects. (40 hours total)
