Medical & Community Interpreter - More Information

Why Medical and Community Interpreting?

The need for medical and community interpreters is rapidly increasing and so is the demand for trained professionals in this field. In this 60-hour course, in collaboration with TransFluenciSM, you will learn from experienced interpreters who will support and guide your learning while following the standards and ethics of the profession, that prepare you for employment in this growing field.

Work Environment

Interpreters work in schools, hospitals, courtrooms, and conference centers. Many translators work from home. Self-employed interpreters and translators frequently have variable work schedules. Most interpreters and translators work full time during regular business hours.
