Bradford Persistent Agent

Bristol Community College security access policies have changed. The Bradford Persistent Agent program is no longer required and must be removed. To gain access to the BCC Network, please follow the instructions below to remove the program from your machine.

Uninstall Bradford from Windows XP\Vista\7:

  1. Click on the Start Button then Control Panel
  2. In the top right corner of the Control Panel window click the View by: menu and select either "Large Icons" or "Small Icons"
  3. Windows XP
    1. Click on Add or Remove Programs
  4. Windows Vista\7
    1. Click on Programs and Features
  5. Find Bradford in the list of Programs
  6. Select Bradford and click Remove (Win XP) or Uninstall (Win Vista\7)
  7. Follow the prompts to remove Bradford
  8. Once complete, either click ReScan on the Bradford Dissolvable agent window or Click Here to re-register your computer.

Uninstall Bradford from Windows 8\8.1:

    1. While on the Start screen, swipe up to switch to the Apps screen. With a mouse, click on the downward-facing arrow icon to bring up the Apps screen.

Please Note: Prior to the Windows 8.1 update, the Apps screen is only accessible by swiping up from the bottom of the screen, or right-clicking anywhere on the start screen, and clicking All apps.

  1. In the top right corner of the Control Panel window click the View by: menu and select either "Large Icons" or "Small Icons"
  2. Find Bradford in the list of Programs
  3. Select Bradford and click Remove (Win XP) or Uninstall (Win 7)
  4. Follow the prompts to remove Bradford
  5. Once complete, Once complete, either click ReScan on the Bradford Dissolvable agent window or Click Here to re-register your computer.

Uninstalling Bradford from your Apple computer:

  1. Click on the (Finder) icon on your sister. (Usually located in the dock at the bottom of the screen.)
  2. Click on the Go menu and click Go to Folder.
  3. In the "Go to Folder dialogue box, type: /Library and click Go.
  4. Double click on the Application Support folder.
  5. Double click on the Bradford Networks folder.
  6. Double click on the Persistent Agent folder.
  7. Double click on the Uninstall icon.
  8. Your system should ask for your system username and password to complete the uninstall process.
  9. Follow the prompts to remove Bradford.
  10. Once complete, Once complete, either click ReScan on the Bradford Dissolvable agent window or Click Here to re-register your computer.
