Prepare for Your Job Search
To help you make the most of your time and energy, Career Services offers a wide range of tools and resources that will help you develop a focused, effective strategy.
Career Source Jobs and Resource Portal
Before you meet with employers, you'll want to prepare. Career Source provides a resource library that's packed with resources to develop your resume, write a cover letter, practice your interviewing skills, and more. (Please note: Career Source will be replaced with a new, expanded career management system in the fall of 2017.)
This online tool, available exclusively to BCC students, provides career resources to help job seekers create professional quality résumés and cover letters, manage an online portfolio, practice interview skills with an interactive virtual interview tool, and even develop a personal website! To get started, log in to accessBCC, click on the College Resources tab, and click on Optimal Resume in the Career Services tile.
We provide workshops on a variety of topics, including Career Exploration, Resume Writing, Interview Skills, Job Fair Prep, and Networking with LinkedIn. Visit our Events and Workshops Calendar for a list of upcoming workshops.
