Please read the following instructions carefully.
Graduation exercises will take place in a 2,400-person tent on the Elsbree Street Campus on Saturday, May 31, 2014. The ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. sharp, rain or shine.
|9:30 - 10:00 a.m.||Check in at your program's registration table to pick up a card, to be read on stage, that indicates your name, program, and honors (if applicable).||Jackson Arts Center

(ushers will direct you to your seat).

|In the event of rain or the threat of rain, please bring an umbrella for protection during the processional from the Arts Center to the tent.|

|Degrees and certificates for graduates who were unable to attend the ceremony will be mailed the week following commencement.|
Printable information and instructions:
Please plan accordingly for adverse weather conditions. Also note that part of the processional involves walking through the campus grounds. You will march through the tent on grassy areas; please wear appropriate shoes. High heels often sink into the grass while loose fitting shows could slip and slide.
Guests at Graduation
Seating for guests is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for seating outside of the tent.
Guests are asked to go directly to the tent to be seated in order to make the task of lining up graduates easier. Please follow the instructions of the ushers.
In order to help you in planning the best way to capture commencement memories in photographs, please be aware of the following.
GradImages™ featuring GradTrak® is the official commencement photographer. An individual photograph of each graduate will be taken. A proof of the photograph will be mailed to you along with information on ordering copies and enlargements.
President Sbrega will be available for photographs during the reception in the Commonwealth College Center. Provide your own camera and bring someone to take the picture, or you may purchase a disposable camera from our bookstore.
One or more student organizations will be selling flowers on Commencement day on the campus grounds. We encourage you and your family to consider purchasing flowers from these students. Other vendors may be selling flowers outside the campus on the city streets, but please note that only student organizations will be allowed on the campus itself.
The Commencement Ceremony will be simulcast by FRCTV on channel 95. Fall River Cable subscribers can watch the ceremony live on Channel 95 beginning at 11 a.m. The ceremony will be rebroadcast frequently during the month of June; exact times will be posted on channel 95. In addition the ceremony will also be streamed live online at FRCMedia.
Accommodations for Disabilities
The Commencement ceremony is accessible to persons with disabilities. The stage will be accessible by wheelchair and American Sign Language Interpreters will be provided.
