An opportunity to learn about how your application can stand out from the others- in good ways and bad! Students will learn what they can do to put their application ahead of the rest and what raises red flags for admissions counselors.

College Admission Panels

Monday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. - Norton HS Auditorium

Massachusetts public school panel (April 9): Bristol Community College, Bridgewater State University, Framingham State University, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, and Lowell.  Panelists will discuss their specific institution including presentations on the Mass Transfer and Commonwealth Commitment programs.

Wednesday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m. - Attleboro HS Bray Auditorium

Highly Selective panel (April 10): Boston College, Boston University, Harvard University, Northeastern University.  Panelists will discuss their specific institution and give tips on applying to a highly selective school.

Tuesday, April 30 at 6:30 p.m. - North Attleboro HS Cobb Theater

Regional Private Institutions (April 30): Participants: Providence College, Stonehill College, Wheaton College and Dean College. Panelists will discuss their specific institution and answer questions about the admissions process.

Understanding Your Financial Aid Award

Students can bring financial aid award letters from colleges and universities to ask questions about their aid packages to make educated financial decisions about enrollment.

Admission Essay and Resume Writing

Wednesday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. - Bishop Feehan High School Café.

The best glimpse for an admission counselor into who you are as a student may be the admissions essay or resume you submit. Come learn some tips about what schools look for in an essay to boost your candidacy and what may raise some red flags for someone reviewing your application.

The transition to college is not just for students! This session will help family members with their transition as their student starts their college career with tips on everything from how to communicate with the institution to what can be done with the new empty space in your house!
