Submit Your Fall 2018 FAFSA Today!
Planning to take classes during Fall 2018? If you have a completed 2018-19 financial aid application, you may already have an award available to view in accessBCC!
If you haven’t applied yet, complete the 2018-19 FAFSA today or at one of our weekly workshops. While it is now beyond the priority deadline for some state and federal grants programs, the Financial Aid Office accepts applications and awards Pell grants and Federal Direct Loans year round to those who qualify. Please note that the financial aid process can take a few weeks, so alternate payment arrangements like the Nelnet payment plan are advised as we near the August 9 bill due date.
The big question: how can you pay for your education?
Financial aid can ease the burden of costs by offering grants, scholarships, loans, and work study opportunities for qualified students.
You need to be admitted to an eligible degree or certificate program to receive financial aid. All associate degree programs are eligible and some certificate programs are eligible for financial aid. View the current list of Financial Aid Eligible Certificate Programs.
The Financial Aid Office uses standards and procedures developed by the U.S. Department of Education to estimate a fair student and family contribution, determine financial need, and then determine the amount and type of assistance that can be offered to meet your educational expenses.
