4th All Media Juried Exhibition

In 2009 the first All Media Juried Exhibition ushered in a new exhibition format for the gallery. That first show featured a dynamic, exciting, and diverse array of works from artists across our region. Now a biennial event, the fourth time around is just as exciting as it was the first time. This year, forty-eight artists participated in the process and a total of one-hundred-eight works were submitted for consideration.
The gallery extends a very special thanks to Maria Napolitano. Her hard work and insight are evident in the results of the jury process and she has pulled together a very fine exhibition. She selected forty-eight works for this show. Napolitano is an artist and recent recipient of the Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Foundation Grant, Provincetown Art Museum. She was also awarded the 2013 Artist Resource Trust Grant from the Berkshire Tutonic Community Trust. Recent exhibitions include Provincetown Art Museum; Locally Made, RISD Museum; Improbable Places, The Chazan Gallery at Wheeler, Providence; and Among the Breakage, New Paintings from Providence, Bell Gallery, List Art Center, Brown University. Napolitano's work is in the permanent collections of the RISD Museum, Fidelity Investments, and other private collections.
Award Recipients
The Juror's Award Recipients this year are Richard Creighton and Barbara Owen.
An exhibition of their work will be featured during the month of June 2015 in the gallery.
The cash prize is awarded to Eleanor Sabin.
